Enjoy the short flip through a wonderful book about swimmers in London.
In the video I flip through the book East London Swimmers, which I like very much. The photos show swimmers at the London fields lido before and after they jump into their bathing costumes. The photos by Madeleine Waller are accompanied by short statements of the swimmers, why they love to swim. The book was published by the small English publisher Hoxton Mini Press.
The song I used for the short sequence is from broken politics, the last album of Neneh Cherry - one of my coming-out-of-age-role models. Which she still is.
